Following a successful amateur career which included victories over world rated amateurs a Commonwealth Youth Bronze Medal and Irish National Amateur Championship Colm turned professional with MHD Promotions at the age of twenty one. During his four years since as a professional he has been climbing the world rankings and is undefeated in fifteen contests including, Boxing Union of Ireland Celtic Featherweight Championship, Boxing Union of Ireland Irish Super Featherweight Championship, Commonwealth Silver Championship and is now the European Boxing Union Silver Champion.
